The Greenfield Center

The Greenfield Center has been working with alcoholics and individuals struggling with drug addiction since 1987 to help them improve their lives. The Greenfield Center has worked with thousands of men and women to help them overcome the powerful hold a chemical addiction can have on their lives.

All clinical staff are licensed or certified by the State of Florida. All staff members are in recovery for addiction or co-dependency themselves. The Greenfield Center cares for patients and will provide the emotional, physical and psychological support they need for a successful recovery from substance abuse and addiction.

We are well trained to work with alcoholics and other substance addictions.

Brian Jackson, Dr. AD, CAP

Doctor of Additive Disorders

Dr. Brian Jackson is the Clinical Director at the Greenfield Center. He is a graduate of Wake Forest University and received his Doctorate in Addictive Disorders from Breining Institute in Sacramento, California. Dr. Jackson has had several articles published and is an alumni of the Betty Ford Center. 

 
Professional Addiction Certifications

He is a Florida Board Certified Addictions Professional, Certified Prevention Specialist, Certified Gambling Addictions Counselor and is certified by the International Reciprocity Consortium.

 

Dr. Jackson has worked at the Greenfield Center for 18 years. He was named “Clinical Supervisor of the Year” in 2013 by Breining Institute. He has had several articles published regarding addiction. He is passionate about working with individuals and families as they learn to live life on life’s terms without the use of alcohol and other substances.

Expert Witness

Dr. Jackson also provides expert witness testimony in Duval, St. Johns and Clay County.

Joni Nelson, Insurance Billing Coordinator

Diane is a graduate of Florida State University and has been practicing in the field of addiction for 7 years and specializes in working with both patients and families as well as addressing Adult Child issues.

 

Diane has been doing 12 Step work for 16 years an utilizes this skill to help patients and families work on recovery issues. She is currently in the process of completing her CAP. Diane has also worked with behavioral health issues including Baker Act facilities. She has expertise in working with hospice patients, grief work and dual diagnosed patients which helps round the team for challenges that patients face in their everyday lives and could potentially cause relapse.

Robert A. Coleman RN, MSN,
BC-PMHN

Robert is a Masters prepared, board certified  psychiatric-mental health nurse with over 27 years' experience in addictions and other mental illness. He completed his Masters at the Medical University of South Carolina College where he double majored in Adult Health and Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing. He currently practices nursing and is a nurse educator and crisis prevention and intervention trainer/coordinator at an inpatient psychiatric unit in Jacksonville. He is working with the Greenfield Center on his certification as a Masters  Addiction Professional where he also facilitates group and individual therapy for patients.

Eleanore came to the Greenfield Center over 9 years ago as the Office Manager. Joni joined the team about two years later as an Insurance Billing Coordinator. They are the administrative staff and the first people most patients speak with when they're looking for help with their addictions. Both Eleanore and Joni work closely with doctors and patients to schedule both Initial Assessments and Individual Treatment sessions for patients. They work directly with insurance companies to ensure patients receive the benefits necessary for their recovery.

They are knowledgeable with addiction and also work closely with family members to help the entire family in the recovery process.
